Dogs at Field Days?
No dogs are allowed at the Northland Field Days unless the dog is an authorised assistance dog such as a Guide Dog or the dog has been authorised, in writing, by the Northland Field Days to be on an exhibitors site.
Disabled car parking
The Northland Field Days has an area within our car park that is very close to the event site (this car park is circled in pink on this map: Disabled Persons Car Park Map ) and it is specifically for people who are disabled or their mobility means they can not walk too far. You are required to have an official disabled parking permit clearly displayed in your windscreen so that the parking attendants can see it when you drive in and they will direct you to the correct parking area.
Disabled persons toilets
Until we have enough funding to build more permanent toilet blocks, we have 3 disabled persons toilets on our event site. These are clearly marked with a blue disabled persons symbol on this map Disabled Persons Toilets Map.
The centrally-located disabled persons toilet is in our Headquarters building, you just need to pop into our office (there is a ramp at the side of our office for wheelchair access), ask to use the disabled toilet and we will show you where it is. Please note: we need to keep the door locked to stop everyone else using this particular toilet so that it remains available to those who actually need to use a disabled persons facility.
Mobility scooters
Usually we have a mobility scooter provider who attends our event every year and they kindly provide mobility scooters, free of charge. Unfortunately for our 2021 event, they are unable to attend so this service will not be available unless we are able to find another provider – we will update this information if the situation changes.
You are more than welcome to bring your own mobility scooter if you are able to transport it here.
