The Northland Field Days has an area within our car park that is very close to the event site and it is specifically for people who are disabled or their mobility means they can not walk too far. You are required to have an official disabled parking permit clearly displayed in your windscreen so that the parking attendants can see it when you drive in and they will direct you to the correct parking area.
ScooterWorks attends our event every year and they kindly provide mobility scooters, free of charge for a couple of hours and we have placed them on the event site in a spot that is only a very short distance from the main entrance.
Due to high demand, you must book a scooter in advance so please contact Neil Wood on 09 433 8095
You are also more than welcome to bring your own mobility scooter if you are able to transport it.
If you are unable to walk the short distance across the road and into the event site, we are able to arrange for one of our Committee Members to pick you up from the disabled car park in a side-by-side vehicle but you will need to phone our office (09 439 8998) when you arrive and you may need to wait for a short time until someone can get to you.
Below is a map to show you where the car park is, it is circled in red and the location of ScooterWorks for mobility scooter collection is the orange star – click on the map to make it bigger:
